Configure remote support for Windows computers
Configure remote support for Mac computers
Download the configuration script that will set up your computer for remote support.
📥 Download Windows ConfigRight-click the downloaded file and select "Run as administrator". This configures your system for remote support.
Run the installer you just downloaded and follow the standard installation process.
Open RustDesk from your Start menu or desktop. It will automatically connect to MyTechGuy's secure server for remote support.
Click below to download the setup file to your Downloads folder.
📥 Download Setup FileOpen Terminal app (press Command + Space, type "Terminal", press Enter).
Copy and paste this line, then press Enter:
chmod +x Downloads/configure_rustdesk.sh
In Terminal, copy and paste this line, then press Enter:
./configure_rustdesk.sh
When it asks for a choice, type "1" and press Enter.
Click below to download the Intel version of RustDesk (saves to Downloads folder).
📥 Download RustDesk (Intel)
Double-click the downloaded file, then drag RustDesk to your Applications folder.
Open RustDesk from your Applications folder. It's now ready for MyTechGuy to provide remote support.
